Corning® basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (bFGF), human recombinant, 10µg, is a heparin-binding mitogenic protein that enhances the proliferation of a wide variety of cell types under serum-free or serum-reduced conditions. 1/pack, formerly Cat. #40060. These growth factors have been used to promote long-term proliferation in cell culture and to induce cell differentiation in a variety of cell types under serum-free or reduced serum conditions.
Formulation
Lyophilized from phosphate buffered saline, carrier-free; reconstitute in dH2O or serum-free medium
Preparation and Storage
Stable for at least three months at -20°C (lyophilized) or = one month solubilized at -20°C. Do not store in frost-free freezer. Avoid multiple freeze/thaws.

- Tested for ability to promote proliferation of FBHEC
