STIRRER SHAFTS, POLISHED, 19MM, CHEM-STIR™

A 19mm OD precision ground and polished stirrer shaft with our patented Chem-Stir™ blade attachment system. Shaft (C) has been manufactured with a ring at the lower end to permit attachment of the blade (B) with a PTFE nut (D) and bolt (A). Shaft is supplied complete with PTFE nut and bolt set. For use with PTFE bearings such as the CG-2086. Polished shaft will not cause abrasion to the sealing surfaces of the PTFE bearing, thereby allowing a vacuum tight seal. Uses the same PTFE nut and bolt blade attachment method as the CG-2084 ground shaft. PLEASE NOTE: THESE SHAFTS ARE NOT TO BE USED WITH ANY TYPE OF GLASS BEARING. FOR GROUND SHAFTS USED WITH GLASS BEARINGS SEE CG-2084.

· PTFE Is The Only Contact In The Lower Radius Of The Flask, Therefore Breakage Due To Dropping The Stirrer Shaft Has Been Eliminated
Eliminates The Frustration Of Assembly
· Unique Design Permits The Proper Amount Of Tension To Be Applied To The Blade, Thereby Preventing The Blade From Flipping Over To The Incorrect Side During Insertion Into The Flask
· Special PTFE Blades Are Not Required. Design Permits Use With Any PTFE Stirrer Blade With The Keyhole Shaped Cutout For 10mm Or 19mm Shafts
· Available In Both Ground And Polished Styles
