Our formalin resistant non-adhesive thermal-transfer tags allow permanent and long-term identification of specimens and samples preserved in formalin solution. They are designed for the preservation of biological samples in 10-100% formalin solution. Formalin resistant tags are also ideal for long-term specimen preservation in alcohols. Resistant, durable and reliable, these tags are perfect for museum, anatomy and pathology laboratories, and any other facilities involved in preparation, preservation and long-term conservation of biological specimens such as insects, arachnids, molluscs, arthropods, crustaceans, amphibians, reptiles, herptiles, other vertebrates and invertebrates, tissues, organs, and a lot more. Resistant to formaldehyde and alcohols, these non-adhesive tags are intended to be inserted directly into the solution, conjointly with the specimens. Made from chemically inert plastic, they protect identification information without affecting sample integrity. Formalin resistant non-adhesive tags are supplied in continuous rolls, compatible with major brands of thermal-transfer barcode printers (Sato, Datamax, Zebra, Citizen, etc.).
