Maintains temperature through direct contact with ice, dry ice, water, liquid nitrogen or other common laboratory temperature sources. Use for cooling, (snap)freezing or heating/thawing samples. Precision-engineered ”direct contact” stage design virtually eliminates the insulating air gap typically found between the bottom of the plate wells and the temperature source, ensuring well-to-well temperature consistency and no ”edge effect.”

SBS-footprint makes this module ideal for benchtop cooling, then quick transfer to automated platforms for approximately 10-20 minutes of cold processing.
