Includes CoolBox 2XT System, automation-compatible CoolRack XT M24 to hold 24 1.5ml or 2.0ml microfuge tubes, automation-compatible CoolRack PCR96 to hold a 96-well PCR plate or strip-well or tubes, and one pack of 500 TruCool microfuge tubes.
Easily transfer samples from the CoolBox 2XT cooling workstation to the robotic platform or other instrument of choice for brief cold processing (approximately 20-30 minutes <10°C). Ideal for preparing RNA and for q-PCR, dPCR, or ddPCR reactions.
Applications include qPCR, dPCR, ddPCR, RNA assays, reverse transcription, nuclease protection, characterization of siRNA, ncRNA, rRNA. Use with dry ice to snap freeze samples or primers for long term storage.
